Message from Chairman
The COVID-19 has caused a severe impact on the world. People from all over the world, regardless of gender, age, or age, and companies regardless of their location or size, have been affected to varying degrees. We all know that business operations are closely related to consumer life and social dynamics. At the same time, the natural disasters caused by climate change pose a threat and impact on the living environment and daily life that cannot be ignored.
In recent years, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) has received more and more attention in corporate operations around the world. Since its establishment, YAOI has always taken sustainable development as the most important goal. As a corporate citizen, we put our hearts and minds even more, taking sustainable products, environmental management, social participation, and a happy workplace as our own responsibilities.
In order to implement the concept of sustainable development, we established the ESG Environment Social and Governance Committee in 2019, which specifically incorporates corporate sustainable development, as well as environmental, social, and governance issues into the company's business strategy, and implements overall plans.

Environment
The production process inevitably takes a toll on the environment. YAOI Group is committed to producing in a way that consumes the least energy and has the least impact on the environment, and actively promotes the production of renewable energy, continuously improves the recycling and disposal of waste in the production process, and creates an environment-friendly production process.

Employee Welfare
Insurance
In addition to labor insurance and health insurance as required by law, we also purchases "employer's compensation liability insurance and group injury insurance" for all employees as well as "group overseas business travel safety insurance" for colleagues on business trips to have our employees well protected.

Benefit
- According to the labor health protection rules, the company regularly conducts medical examinations for employees every year. When the probation period for new employees expires, the cost of the medical examinations at the time of registration will be subsidized.
- We provide summer and winter company uniforms every year so employees don't have to worry about what to wear to work.
- The company has a staff cafeteria, which provides free lunch and dinner for all employees every day.
- In order to create a friendly workplace environment, and in accordance with Article 18 of the Gender Work Equality Act, if the child is under 2 years old and needs to be breast-fed by the employer, the employer shall provide breast-feeding every day in addition to the prescribed rest time (set) The time for breastfeeding is 60 minutes; and if the employee has extended working hours beyond the normal working hours for more than one hour each day, the employer shall give the time for breastfeeding (collection) of 30 minutes. Therefore, it provides employees with exclusive breastfeeding (collection) breastfeeding space.
- In addition to the gift benefits for marriage, funeral ceremony and the completion of the new house, when employees or their children or siblings need leave for booking or marriage, the company will also apply for festive leave without affecting their performance evaluation.

Employee Welfare Committee
The company has established an employee welfare committee in accordance with the law. The welfare subsidy items are as follows:
- Gifts for weddings, funerals, birthday gifts, maternity gifts, hospital condolences, three festival gifts or gift certificates (Spring Festival, Labor Day, Mid-Autumn Festival).
- Promote special stores, employee association subsidies, irregular cultural and recreational activities (badminton competition, bowling competition...etc.), and organize annual employee travel activities.
Through the above measures, the employees will be united and the emotional connection between employees will be enhanced.

Occupational Safty and Health
We have established the "Labor Safety and Hygiene Automatic Inspection Schedule", which is excuted under the supervision of General Manager. Various inspection reports are inspected by the industrial safety personnel, and the inspection and improvement items and specific improvement conditions are recorded, and the safety and health committee is held every quarter.
Social Engagement
The company donates irregularly to social welfare groups such as the Home Support Center. The achievements of the 2019 donation to government agencies and public welfare groups include:
- Donated to charitable organizations such as Changhua Family Support Development Academy, Taichung Development Academy, Dali Non-profit Kindergarten, etc., a total of 142 sets of baby mattresses. In addition, Yao I and its subsidiaries also actively participate in various public welfare activities in the community, such as community cleaning services, response to blood donation and other public welfare activities.
- Donated to Xi Lok Nursing Home. The donation items include 97 sets of baby mattresses, thin cushions, cushions, pillows and other physical objects.
- Donated 727 yards of fabric to the Marshall Welfare Foundation.
- To support the Taiwan Guide Dog Association, our company officially became a long-term sponsor of the association in 2017. In 2010, we provided 70 sets of pet pressure relief sleeping pads of various sizes to assist the Taiwan Guide Dog Association to provide a better living environment for guide dogs.
